Allambee Camp, just 130 km from Melbourne CBD, is the ideal venue for school camps, retreats, church groups and social / sporting clubs. The camp offers a wide range of challenging and fun outdoor activities.

Allambee Camp is situated in a truly unique and peaceful location atop the Strzelecki Ranges and can accommodate groups between 30-100 participants. It operates as a fully accredited camp and the SOLE USE of the camp is guaranteed. The business is family owned and a quality, affordable, friendly and personal service is assured. Camp managers are on site 24 hrs.

Allambee Camp gives you plenty of choice for outdoor activities within safe boundaries. All activities are close to the main buildings and easily accessible (wheelchair access provided). Groups benefit from the professional support. An individual activity program is drafted for every group. The qualified and friendly activity instructors accompany all groups throughout their stay.

Accommodation Details: Allambee camp has a maximum capacity of 100 beds in 3 separate lodges. The main lodge accommodates 63 in 7 different rooms, including separate 3-4 bed rooms for teachers/leaders. The two smaller lodges accommodate 16-20 in 3 different rooms, again with separate rooms for teachers/leaders. Bed / bathrooms are under the same roof.

Catering: Fully catered groups enjoy three home-cooked meals a day, plus morning tea, afternoon tea and supper. Barbecue meals, picnic meals, excursion lunches or camp-out provisions are also available. Special dietary needs can be met with prior notice. Tea / coffee making facilities are available 24 hours.

Self catered groups have access to a fully commercial kitchen with dishwasher, cool room, freezer and storage.

Indoor Facilities: Indoor facilities include a comfortable recreation / meeting room with projector, DVD, VHS, TV and whiteboard. A large recreation building can be used for ball games, table tennis and other activities, especially in wet weather.

The kitchen and dining room are separate from the bunkhouses.

Outdoor Facilities: Outdoor activities include: abseil tree, archery, billy carts, bouldering wall, bushwalking, camp fire, dangle duo, flying fox, games, giant swing, hut building, initiative course, low level ropes course, orienteering, photo trail, raft making, reflector trail, swimming pool and vertical playpen.

Outdoor facilities also include an outside barbecue area and spacious exterior dining area.
