Sydney Learning Adventures
Sydney Learning Adventures is part of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and offers over 20 entertaining and informative excursions for primary, secondary and ESL students.
The Sydney Learning Adventures team has experience in education, archaeology and tour-guiding. Students will be engaged by this highly skilled and energetic team that use the following techniques and mediums to create contemporary, interactive and exciting learning forums:
-the unique precincts of The Rocks and Darling Harbour
-historical resources
-media presentation
-theatre techniques.
The programs offer teachers an ideal resource to complement the key learning areas of English, Business Studies, HSIE, Geography, History, ESL, Aboriginal Studies, Religion and Ancient History.
Teachers are also supplied with a comprehensive pack that details:
-possible pre and post tour activities
-background information
-excursion worksheets
-relevant curriculum links.
